I love reading these blogs to see how others live Waldorf-inspired lives. There aren’t a whole lot of Waldorf teacher blogs, so I’m grateful for the few who do post. The Waldorf Way, written by Waldorf teacher Rick Tan is one that I particularly enjoy. It is no longer updated, but it has a wealth of archived content.
Another spot worth checking out is the Waldorf forum at Mothering.com. I just rediscovered this forum, and I remember getting a lot from it when my kids were little and I was at home with them, creating a Waldorf home life.
One thought comes to mind about reading blogs for inspiration. I remember when my children were little and I would read those blogs and lament that my own life didn’t measure up to the beauty that was contained in those lovely blogs. It took me awhile to realize that those posts and images were an idealized view of these people’s lives. They certainly faced all of the challenges and struggles I faced, but they searched for and celebrated the beauty they found in their lives. This helped me to do the same for my life — so I no longer felt the pressure to measure up.
I hope you enjoy reading and can find those moments of beauty in your own lives.
